Non-Commercial use and educational licenses are generally granted free of charge along with non-compensated portraits which I have no model release(used in an editorial context only on this site). I do have expenses and do sell a number of licenses through Stock Photography sights in order to reimburse ’some’ of my expenses. But, I do register all copyrighted material, if you would like to use some of my work commercially please inquire. If your a non-profit or educational group again, I will generally grant you a license free of charge including the National Weather Service.
About me
Photography has been a passion of mine for over 25 years starting with my first film SLR, a Pentax Super ME which I still own and works. I still enjoy film but, generally use a DSLR or a point and shoot that I carry with me always. I carry myself (usually) in a very professional manner. I often hand out contact information, if I take your portrait or you get a card please contact me and I will try and find the files. Again I do this for fun not for profit, the day this is no longer fun, I will no longer take photos.
I am 41 years old with a wife and two children and carry myself in a ‘typically’ professional manner. I ‘try’ the best I can to not include political, religious, or other controversial subjects on my website. Family photos, are kept off site. I am a full time software developer working for a large company (what I do full time when not taking photos).
